Barbara Deforges has been a training consultant and coach for 20 years. She has designed and delivered training courses for global organizations in leadership and management, intercultural communication, diversity and inclusion, change management, sales and sales management, customer experience/service, communication, career development, and team building. She is passionate about helping leaders at all levels develop their leadership competencies.
Prior to her consultancy, Barbara worked as a sales manager and head of a training and delivery team at Deutsch Aktiv, a language training company in France.
Barbara’s clients have included Airbus, American Express, Axalta, CWT, Deutsche Bank, Expedia, ExxonMobil, Johnson and Johnson, MSD, Pentair, Primark, Sanofi, Starwood, Swarovski, and UTC.
Barbara has a Master’s degree in translation and interpretation from the Université des Sciences Humaines in Strasbourg, France. She is certified in the Enneagram, the Strength Deployment Inventory, and uses the Myers Briggs Type Inventory on a regular basis.
Barbara is a German citizen and has lived in France since 1980. She is bilingual in French and German, and fluent in English. She has lived on three continents and worked in more than twenty countries.
